Welcome to Baumbach Wines Wines. We are the first winery since 1903 to occupy the historic Old Rock Winery in the Bernhard Complex in Auburn, California. We specialize in Italian varietals such as Barbera, Charbono, Aglianico, Montepulciano, Nebbiolo and Zinfandel. We select our varietals according to the best grapes of the year. We also produce French and Spanish varietals including Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Grenache wines.

Dono dal Cielo vineyard has been knitted into one of the richest valleys of the Sierra Foothills. We are a working ranch with 30 acres, 6000 vines and 50 fruit trees.
The vineyard has matured and the grapes that are on the vine taste like the wine that is in the bottle. At this time we also have juice aging in the barrel.
Dono dal Cielo which means "gift from Heaven" (in Italian) is a Zinfandel vineyard. We invite you to experience the brilliant results of the years of devotion to the vines that have enriched our lives.

Please drive slowly on our private road. As you turn on Fawnridge, you can see the winery is at the top of the hill on the left. Parking is available out front.
