1. Gold Country Pro Rodeo
April 27th & 28th; 4pm to 8pm
Returning to Auburn this April – in it’s 86th year – the Gold Country Pro Rodeo continues it’s tradition of family-friendly fun!
For two nights, the Gold Country Pro Rodeo brings all the excitement with thrilling events, including:
- Pro bull riding
- Bronc riding
- Roping contests
- Kid "mutton busting"
- Flying Cowboyz - freestyle motocross
And plenty of pre-parties, after-parties, and live music fun!

2. Foothills Brewfest
May 4th; 1pm to 5pm
This 21+ event is delicious community crowd pleaser, featuring beers from some of the regions most celebrated breweries, including:

Not only a fun and delicious event, the brewfest also benefits the community.
The Rotary Club of Auburn uses the proceeds they receive from the brewfest toward a variety of community projects in the greater Auburn area while the Gold Country Fair Heritage Foundation uses funds raised to enhance the Gold Country Fairgrounds.

3. Cinco De Mayo
May 5th; 5pm to 8pm
A time honored tradition, come celebrate Old Town Auburn’s annual Cinco de Mayo celebration!
This free, family-friendly event includes:
- Folklorico Dancers
- Face Painters
- Dancing Horses
Old Town Auburn merchants and restaurants will be open for business, so bring the whole family for an unforgettable Cinco De Mayo celebration!
4. Auburn Art Walk
June 13th & September 12th; 5pm - 8pm
The 2019 Auburn Art Walk offers five different Art Walk events this year, moving around town from month to month. Each unique Thursday Night Art Walk event will promote a different Celebrity Artist curator.
Art Walk will be coming to Old Town Auburn on June 13th and September 12th.
This years Art Walk will be held from 5-8pm on the Second Thursday of each month from May through September in different areas of Auburn. The new format serves to make the Art Walk feel more like a festive community event while making easier for visitors to take in all the participating venues, businesses, and artists.
With live music, food vendors, fun kids activities, and plenty of artistic inspiration, this event is perfect for the whole family! Every Art Walk event will be different, so mark your calendars for the second Thursday of the month from May to September, because you won’t want to miss a single one!

5. Auburn Co-op
May - September; 5pm to 9pm
The Auburn Co-op returns to the streets of Old Town Auburn on May 16th to kick-off the 2019 season.
This hugely popular family-friendly community event is back by popular demand! Beginning in May and running every third Thursday through September, one thing you can expect from the Auburn Co-op is the unexpected.
Each event brings a new line-up of entertainment, music, activities, and attractions, such as:
- Pop-up activities (like climbing walls and skate-parks)
- Regional wines
- Local brews
- Food trucks
- OTA restaurant booths
- Seasonal farm fresh offerings
- One-of-a-kind handcrafted goods
Part street-fair and part street-party, the Auburn Co-op is the most celebrated, anticipated event series of the season! Don’t miss a single one.
6. Antique and Vintage Street Fair
May 19th; 8am to 3pm
A free, family-friendly event, the Old Town Auburn Antique & Vintage Street Fair brings vendors from near and far, with items that are:
Enjoy local vendors, food, and shopping as you look upon their gypsy treasures. This rain-or-shine event is a can’t-miss Old Town Auburn tradition.

7. Foothills Farmers Market
Every Saturday; 8am to noon
Rain or shine, the Foothills Farmers Market sets up shop in the Old Town Auburn Courthouse parking lot on Saturday mornings, year-round.
The springtime bounty of local produce and other goodies from regional vendors promises that you won’t leave with an empty basket.
Local PlacerGrown farmers never disappoint, their booths well-stocked with everything from produce and flowers to eggs and honey, plus much more!
Bonus: Late spring, look for the Hillview Farms weekly local organic farm stand at the Alehouse Annex!
Wednesday evenings from 4 to 7pm, you will find the best locally grown and freshly harvested vegetables, fruits, and herbs.
