How to Support the Auburn Community During COVID-19

During these uncertain and unprecedented times, one thing is certain: non-profits in and around Auburn need our help more than ever.

Placer County non-profits who provide services to working families facing economic hardships and food insecurity in the months ahead have a big job to do.

You can support your Auburn community by donating to the Placer Community Foundation COVID-19 Response Fund.

Placer Community Foundation COVID-19 Response Fund

Find out what the PCF Fund does and how you can help support those most in-need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

What is the Fund?
The PCF COVID-19 Response Fund will offer flexible resources to organizations in our area working with communities who are disproportionately impacted by coronavirus and the economic consequences of this outbreak.

The PCF Response fund was created to help channel resources that will have the highest impact into the community.

Who is the Fund for?
PCF is communicating and coordinately closely with local government and social services organizations to understand where charitable dollars are needed most and have the greatest potential for impact.

This includes

  • Placer County Health & Human Resources
  • family resource centers
  • senior services organizations
  • food banks
  • and others

Why donate to PCF Response Fund?
Many of us are feeling the need to take action to support our community during this time. And taking action is hard when you're doing the right thing and staying home.

By donating to the PCF Response Fund, you can take action to support the community members who are most in need during this time, without having to make multiple donations to various non-profits.

Of course, you can always donate to multiple non-profits to support your community!

Does the PCF Fund help small businesses?
The PCF Fund supports nonprofit community-based organizations that are directly supporting local residents and families who are most affected by emerging health, economic, and social impacts.

While the Fund is not able to provide grants to individuals or businesses, it is funding community-based organizations that have experience and history of providing people and families with services and support.

How can I donate?
If you would like to support your community and donate to the PCF COVID-19 Fund, you can make a gift contribution online or by mailing a check.

Please make your check payable to PCF with COVID-19 Response Fund in the memo and mail it to Placer Community Foundation at P.O. Box 9207, Auburn, CA 95604.
